Our doctors provide vision care to patients in the age range from toddlers to centenarians. We provide complete medical and therapeutic eye care for most all eye care conditions, except for surgery. We have a full service optical and have the capability of fitting the most current contact lens designs.

What is an Optometrist?

Optometrists are doctors of optometry who prescribe and provide patients’ optical prescriptions, eyeglasses, contact lenses, and vision therapy. In addition, optometrists detect, treat, and manage eye diseases. Optometrists may prescribe medications to treat ocular infections, inflammations, allergies and diseases such as glaucoma. Optometrists also co-manage surgical treatments such as cataract and LASIK refractive surgery.

Dr. Leonard Savedoff

Dr. Leonard Savedoff is a developmental optometrist, whose area of specialty is vision therapy and enhancement of visual skill functions.

Dr. Savedoff did his internship in developmental vision care at the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. Dr. Savedoff is a consultant to the Syracuse University Department of Sports Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is past president of the Central New York Optometric Society and has served several years on the Executive Board of the New York State Optometric Association.

Dr. Savedoff is nationally certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease.

Dr. David Ciccone

Dr. David Ciccone is a developmental optometrist, whose area of specialty is vision therapy and enhancement of visual skill functions.

Dr. Ciccone did his internship in developmental vision care at the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. Dr. Ciccone lectures extensively on children’s vision at local school districts. Dr. Ciccone is a past president of the Central New York Optometric Society and presently serves as the President of the New York State Optometric Association.

Dr. Ciccone is nationally certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease.

Dr. Laura A. Davis

Dr. Laura Davis is an optometrist, whose areas of specialty are primary vision care and ocular disease. In addition, she provides visual-perceptual evaluations and prescribes vision therapy when indicated to improve visual skills.

Dr. Davis recently completed a post graduate residency in these specialties at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Her training includes managing emergency services, as well as specialty training in Neuro-Ophthalmic vision care at the Eye Institute in Philadelphia.

As a Syracuse native and undergraduate alumni of Le Moyne college, she is eager to return to the Central New York region.

Dr. Davis is a member of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Davis is nationally certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease.

The Marco TRS is revolutionary technology that replaces the standard refractor and allows us to control the entire refraction process from a keypad, and move the lenses quickly and accurately without any discomfort to you. This also allows for a protective distancing barrier between the patient and doctor during refractive testing
